“we bring into community”

One of our main markets is the volunteer groups that we bring into the community to undertake infrastructure projects for the local community and for Tampat Do Aman so that we can improve our facilities and thus business all culminating in employing more locals . This year we hosted fourteen volunteer groups from the UK and embarked on some great projects : Finishing the perimeter fence for the local primary school, building a stage for the primary school , laying a connecting path for the school , installing a fish pond , renovating a reading corner for the nursery element of the school , installing a drainage system and renovating the nursery playground , painting one of the local churches Sunday school, laying driveways for the local Muslim prayer room and seventh day Adventist church, building a compost toilet for one of the churches, building a turtle hatchery for Kudat turtle conservation society, building a pig sty for the local women’s entrepreneurial cooperative, a chicken shed and path way for the same women and the building of a 35 metre pedestrian suspension bridge in our wildlife reserve. We were mega busy organising all this and getting it all sorted but it was all very rewarding and worthwhile , here are a few photos of the groups hard work :
