A very warm welcome to Tampat Do Aman’s web site we hope that you enjoy what you see or read and are encouraged to get in touch with us for bookings and clarifications.

Tampat Do Aman strives to offer guests the best of both worlds - Best of the stunning beaches at the Tip of Borneo area and the jungle surrounding. The original, 6.5 acres of land that Tampat Do Aman sits on was purchased in 2010 and we embarked on a journey to develop a low impact, environmentally friendly resort, offering different levels of accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets.

We are the gateway to 8 world class beaches that we encourage and indeed help, with a free shuttle service, along the coastline allowing customers to walk back at their leisure exploring and adventuring as they go. Tampat Do Aman, over the last 10 years has expanded its operations to be able to offer customers jungle experiences and adventures in this beautiful part of the world – guided medicinal and edible plant walks, overnight stays in the jungle and jungle survival courses, all being very well received by those who have wished to experience the jungle. Our wildlife reserve, free to our customers, open 24hours, offers a superb space to get out and experience the jungle first hand, enhanced by our watch tower, viewing platforms and trails, connected by our stunning 100 foot- long suspension bridge, something not to be missed when staying with us.

At the heart of development is always the mission to be sustainable, helping preserve the local Rungus indigenous tribe’s culture and working with the local community to provide opportunities for employment through improvement of the local infrastructure thus enabling the local community to thrive. One of our main markets has developed from groups we bring into the area to help us with our mission, we have had over 180 groups through our “doors” each embarking on a tailor made project to suit the needs of each group so that they use their time effectively to “give back”, if you are a teacher or decision maker looking for community projects to get involved with we would love to see or hear from you. We hope that you enjoy our web site and all that it offers, we would love to see you up here, send us a message through the “contact us” button and we will be happy to send you more details on how best to make your way to us and indeed book you in. If you need confirmation that you would be heading to the best place to stay at the Tip of Borneo, have a look at our reviews on Trip Advisor or Google maps.

Happy Customers...

"We were here as a family with 3 young children for 3 nights and had such a wonderful stay. Howard was an incredible host and very accommodating to the needs of us and our children. On his property we saw a huge variety of bird wildlife including different species of kingfishers. We also did a jungle survival course with Howard which was a fantastic experience for the kids and ourselves and we learnt many interesting tips and facts about how to survive in the jungle as well as many important life skills."

"The most perfect, pristine beach just a short drive away (free shuttles provided by Howard & team). A fantastic host (Howard) who really pays attention to his guests & a lovely restaurant run by Howard's staff right on the beach - the perfect place to have a meal while watching the sun set."
