Tip of Borneo Kudat Sabah

Best of Jungle & Beaches

Tampat Do Aman, an intimate nature escape!

Situated 159 km from the capital city of Kota Kinabalu in the northern-most tip of Sabah in the town of Kudat, is Tampat Do Aman, an intimate nature escape.

In the native Rungus language Tampat Do Aman means a place of peace, or a place of friends, the place itself stretches on a 6 acre land resting on the only road leading up to the tip of Borneo and its pristine 10 km coastline; a gateway to eight world class beaches. Our 6 acre of land in the Kudat district is divided into two segments; the Jungle Camp accommodations and a Wildlife Reserve, home to a wildlife sanctuary. We manages Tampat Do Aman with a vision of presenting guest with the best of two worlds whilst preserving the culture of the native Rungus in Kudat. We combine the pleasures of traditional accommodations in the midst of great jungles and the Tip of Borneofor your ultimate Borneo experience.

Happy Customers...

"We were here as a family with 3 young children for 3 nights and had such a wonderful stay. Howard was an incredible host and very accommodating to the needs of us and our children. On his property we saw a huge variety of bird wildlife including different species of kingfishers. We also did a jungle survival course with Howard which was a fantastic experience for the kids and ourselves and we learnt many interesting tips and facts about how to survive in the jungle as well as many important life skills."

"Lovely place on a beautiful part of Borneo that's still real and peaceful. I intended to stay for 2 nights, but that became 5."

"The most perfect, pristine beach just a short drive away (free shuttles provided by Howard & team). A fantastic host (Howard) who really pays attention to his guests & a lovely restaurant run by Howard's staff right on the beach - the perfect place to have a meal while watching the sun set."
